FARMERS MARKET

NEW THIS YEAR FARMERS MARKET IS NOW COMBINED WITH THE HOME ARTS BUILDING #19. IT WILL REMAIN ITS OWN DEPARTMENT. NEW CHECK IN TIMES ARE 1:00 PM -7:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST.

Entries must be received by August 21st; no late entries will be accepted.

NEW THIS YEAR

We will no longer be following the Danish System of Judging for Farmers Market. There will be (1) 1st place, (1) 2nd place and (1) 3rd place winner for all lots everyone else falls under participant and will receive a participation ribbon.

We do have some classes that have a 1st -4th place winner, these classes are not eligible for a participation ribbon/premium and will be marked with a ** and note.

Flowers, Vegetables, Maple Products, Honey, and Wreaths

Please follow individual class requirements as indicated at the beginning of each class listing.

All exhibits must be grown by exhibitor during the current year. No exhibitor may rearrange exhibit after judging begins. A plate/basket consists of at least five items unless otherwise specified. An exhibitor may enter one exhibit of each variety, but no duplicate entries will be permitted. Total number of plates/baskets per exhibitor per class not to exceed five (5). Superintendent and Judge reserve the right to combine classes or award additional prizes when number or quality of entries indicates.

The building is open to drop off exhibits between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 31st. All exhibits must be brought to the Farmers Market at this time. Judging will be done on Wednesday, September 1st. Exhibits must remain in place until Monday, September 6th at 7:00 PM. Exhibit pickup 7:30 PM but before 8:30 PM Monday, September 6th, 2021. No vehicles will be allowed near the Home Arts/Farmers Market on Monday evening.

Exhibits may also be picked up from 10:00 AM – Noon on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021.

FOR VALIDATION OF PREMIUM PAYMENT – WORKSHEETS MUST BE SIGNED BY BOTH EXHIBITOR AND SUPERINTENDENT.
