BEEF CATTLE SHOW
Friday, 10:00 AM – Show Ring
Entries must be received by August 15th; no late entries will be accepted.
At the discretion of the Superintendent, classes may be combined. The Superintendent will refuse to coop, pen or have judged any ailing, unthrifty or inferior specimen.
Rules and Regulations
- All beef animals at time of entry must be registered with their respective registry except feeder or market animals.
- All registered beef will be owned at time of entry; no pending allowed.
- All beef will have permanent tattoos or tags matching registration and health papers.
- Exhibitors limited to two (2) entries single classes and one (1) entry in group classes.
- All animals shown in group classes by and exhibitor must first have been shown in individual classes by the same exhibitor.
- Superintendent recommends all beef cattle be vaccinated 30 days before the Fair for respiratory diseases, etc. as recommended by your veterinarian.

PEEWEE CLASS
There will be a Peewee Class to be held, Friday, August 30, 2024. This is open to all Beef Exhibitors who are non-4H
members. Pre-registration is required with the Beef Superintendent. This class will follow the rules of 4H Fitting and Showing Classes,
including show clothes. It is expected an experienced Beef Showperson will be with the exhibitor in this class.

AGRICULTURE PROMOTION AND HERDSMANSHIP
Judged on neatness of exhibit, the cooperation of the exhibitor and presentation of animals in the ring and during the Fair. The promotion of the beef industry via handouts, signage and speaking with the public on the value of local agriculture. A special award will be presented to the open beef exhibitor who demonstrates these qualities during the fair.
This class is for Open Beef Exhibitors comprising of five or more beef animals shown in their respective classes during this fair.
