4H YOUTH ROBOTICS

Entries must be received by August 30, 2023 ; No late entries will be accepted.

Event: This event is open to all Youth/4H members ages 8-18 as of 1/1 of current year

All entries must be received by Friday, August 25 at 5pm.  Participant will participate will need to come to the Robotic Barn between 9am – 10am on Saturday morning to pick a 30minute time slot to complete the task.  The scores may be viewed throughout the day on the monitor in the building. Entry in this event does not make a participant eligible for an exhibitors pass.

All the tools will be supplied. Participants must wear pants (no shorts or skirts) and closed toes, hard sole footwear.  The Hopkinton State Fair sponsors the ribbons and rosettes for winners of each age class in the event. he decision of the Judge is final! The Danish system of awards will be used. Rosettes will be awarded to top scorers.

Classes:        The top participants in each age division will receive a rosette.

CLASS REFERENCE :

• Novice: Age 8-13, by 1/1/ of current year and first year participants
• Junior: Ages 9-11, by 1/1/ of current year
• Intermediate: Ages 12 & 13, by 1/1/ of current year
• Senior: Ages 14-18, by 1/1/ of current year
